Choices

As I read the words for today
in the manual written by Rena Peterson...
an image came to my mind.
A gauge or meter placed on my fridge
with the picture of Satan on one side
and Christ on the other.

In between the two images.
was a magnetic image of me.
As I made CHOICES throughout the day...

Every single day, with each choice I make... I am either moving closer to my Savior, or further away.

I could move closer or further away from my Savior
depending upon Rena's very poigniant question.

     What DIRECTION am I moving?
Will this CHOICE bring me closer to my SAVIOR?
A visual of the lessons in this journey
remind me of the little things that add up to being great...
MAGNIFICENT

*Mark Mabry "Reflections of Christ" spoke volumes to me.
The Savior longs and yearns for each person to return to the presence of our Father and Heaven.
The expression on the face of Jesus is one of:
"I am so glad you made it.
I have hoped and prayed and watched over you and you are here.
 You did it...."
The image of Satan came from the mini series "The Bible"
The moment this figure walked on the screen, a dark and disturbing feeling came over me.
Even though he is an actor portraying the evil one...
I knew as clear as day that as much as I believe in a loving God,
I also believe in a jealous Devil who yearns that we might be miserable like him.

CHOOSE ye this day whom ye will serve...
(Joshua 24:15)
