I turned my HEART, my soul, my life
over to the Redeemer.
Doing so, means
a MIGHTY change of HEART in return.
I think of patients that are in need of HEART transplants
and a critical time for observation...
as to whether or not
the NEW HEART
will be rejected or received.
REJECTED: hardened HEART
unwilling to accept behaviors that need replacing,
attitudes that need tweaking,
habits that need substituting,
desires that need a make over
and speaks,
"Nope. I am happy with the heart I have"
RECEIVED: soft, pliable HEART
in which the Lord can shape.
This HEART trusts in the Lord
and is willing to transform, alter, remove, replace, improve,
BECOME
as the Lord seeth fit
and speaks,
"Oh Lord wilt thou grant unto me to knowledge of what needs changing,
courage to make those changes,
and faith to allow YOU to make those MIGHTY changes.
