Be Thou Humble

"Be thou  HUMBLE and the Lord thy God shall lead thee 

by the hand and give thee answers to thy prayers" 

(Doctrine and Covenants 112:10)

Isn't that what I desire...to have the Lord lead me by HIS hand...

to have HIS answers to my prayers?

Absolutely !

But  HUMILITY is not that easy.

(RP) shares a thought from a colleague regarding that sought after gift

HUMILITY ,

"if you think you have it, you don't"

The key to obtaining HUMILITY  is found in the scriptures and the bottom line is to become like a LITTLE CHILD:

teachable

submissive

meek

patient

full of love

willing to submit to all things

(Mosiah 3:19)

OUR SAVIOR,

the supreme example of HUMILITY 

in word, deed, thought, and heart

 HUMBLE birth

 HUMBLE death

forgive them, for they know not what they do.

HUMILITY does not mean thinkless of yourself.

It means you think of yourself less.
